"My husband and I got married at Meadowview Gardens.The facilities are so beautiful at Meadowview Gardens. The bride and groom dressing rooms are very spacious, cozy, and calming for the moments leading up to the wedding. The Garden Room is just gorgeous -- there were lights and tulle draped on the ceiling which set such a romantic mood. The covered Patio and Porch provided us ample space for our 150-200 guests, but the location would be just as intimate for a small wedding. The Outdoor Gazebo, where we had our wedding, was just phenomenal! The beautiful meadow surrounding the Gazebo provided us with all the decorations and scenery we could ever ask for.
Nancy provided everything we needed to make our wedding absolutely perfect and at a great cost. This included our tuxedo rentals, their in-house florist who did all of our flowers (how convenient!), our wedding cake, our table linens and all of the table centerpieces, as well as the wedding decorations down at the gazebo and across the bridge. They helped us with our rehearsal at their location and they were also our travel agents for our Sandals honeymoon. The DJ that is provided with the cost of the location is amazing! It was as if she knew our family forever and she made everyone feel so comfortable to dance the night away. They were definitely our “one-stop wedding venue!”
They were also there to remember the little details when our minds were going in 2,000 different places. They ordered us a memorial vase – to honor those we have lost. They let us rent a unity candle holder at the last minute because we forgot to get one. They set up a small table for the photo guest book we brought the day of the wedding. They were there to lead us through every step of the way, making sure we were calm, stress-free and comfortable. They were even there to remind us of the little things that we would have never remembered like holding our bouquets down lower and how to exchange hands from father to groom. They just did everything and more for us on the most important day of our lives!
We recommend Nancy and the rest of the staff at Meadowview Gardens to anyone wanting a stress-free, one-stop wedding location that is more beautiful than you could ever imagine. "The staff at Meadowview Gardens is unlike any other. They spent so much time with us to make our special day perfect-- and it was! My husband and I had read about Meadowview online and happened to be visiting Kansas City from out of state. When we pulled up to the long drive that eventually led us back into Meadowview, we knew we were in the right place-- a fairy-tale gazebo for the ceremony, green lush fields for plenty of guests to admire and plenty of room- both indoors and outdoors-for our desired guest list. Little did we know we would be blessed with one stop shopping. Nancy and her staff made sure everything was taken care of, from our catering, photographers, musicians, transportation, flowers, tuxedos, music . . . even invitations! Planning an out-of-state wedding could have been a nightmare-- but it truly was relaxing to know and trust that everything would work out-- and it did! Meadowview offers spacious bride and groom dressing rooms for the wedding day preparations, plus the location is beautiful! "From the moment I met Nancy Vogel and toured Meadowview Gardens, I knew it was the perfect place for my daughter’s wedding. The bride and groom wanted an outdoor wedding, but they also wanted a nice backup setting in case of uncooperative weather. Meadowview Gardens provided both. Once we booked the wedding date, the fun began. We ordered invitations, flowers and tuxes all through this one location. The next few months were stress-free as we worked with Nancy and her staff. Details and good communication are the main ingredients to any successful event. Nancy was very efficient in communicating with me on any detail or question I had through phone calls, emails, and personal consultations. As the bride’s mother, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the process of planning the wedding. Nancy was very deliberate in letting us make choices in the planning process, but she was prepared to answer any and all questions and offer advice when asked. She and her staff worked to ensure every detail was taken care of to our complete satisfaction which made the wedding day perfect. Words can’t express how wonderful it was to have the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception all at one beautiful location. Following the rehearsal, which went smoothly under Nancy’s capable direction, we walked to the banquet room and enjoyed a catered dinner. The officiating pastor made a special point to comment on the smoothness of the wedding rehearsal, wedding and reception. In many weddings, there are several people wanting to be in charge, but at Meadowview Gardens there is one person directing the event and she has considerable expertise in the wedding planning process. She is delightful and considerate. If anyone had a question before the rehearsal and wedding I could just say, “Ask Nancy.” The ceremony itself was everything we imagined. It was absolutely stunning to watch the groom and groomsmen walk against the backdrop of the horizon to the gazebo. And, there were few dry eyes in the crowd as we watched the bride walk with her father down the hill. It was picture-perfect! I reflect on this experience with a joyful heart. There is only one thing I would have changed. The cake was absolutely the most delicious cake I’ve had in my life. I would have doubled the cake size so we could have enjoyed it the following day. It was equally as beautiful to look at as it was to taste! We are thankful to the Meadowview Gardens staff for making our daughter’s wedding day a special day for our family and friends.
